Public services: The German Federal Police

The Federal Police have wide-ranging policing duties to guarantee the Federal Republic of Germany’s domestic security, with a particular focus on border control, railway policing and aviation security. As part of these responsibilities, the Federal Police also fight crime.

Linguarum has had a framework contract with the Federal Police since 2021.

We translate into all (28) of the EU’s official languages, including educational material, press releases, flyers and posters for major events like UEFA EURO 2024, and annual reports.

Public services: DeZIM

The German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM) researches integration and migration, consensus and conflict, societal participation and diversity, and discrimination and racism.

It comprises the DeZIM Institute in Berlin as well as a Germany-wide network of research facilities that form the DeZIM Research Community.

Linguarum has had a framework contract with the DeZIM since early 2023.

We translate questionnaires, interviews, evaluation sheets, and reports – mostly into Arabic, English, Russian and Turkish.

The order value to date (as of May 2024) has been over €50,000.

Website translation: Integreat app

Integreat: A digital integration platform that provides foreign citizens with all relevant information at a local level in multiple languages, whether specialised employees, immigrants or refugees. With more than 100 local partners, Integreat is more than just a bright idea. It is a digital integration platform for cities, districts and federal states, aiming to break down language barriers and promote transparent information.

Its focus is on all people with an immigration background, regardless of the reason (asylum, economic migration, etc.) they came to a new country and a new culture. Integreat is designed to aid the integration process and serve as a foundation for more activities and measures.

For four years now, Linguarum has had a framework contract with Tür an Tür – Digitalfabrik gGmbH, which operates the Integreat app. We translate content to be published on the app from German into 33 different languages.

Website translation: Drumag GmbH

Drumag develops customer-specific solutions, working with its customers to construct, test and produce fluid power systems that exceed industry standards. Their fluid power actuators guarantee high-precision linear and rotative motion sequences in demanding fields, including high forces, extreme temperature and temperature fluctuations, and more demanding environmental conditions.

Linguarum translated Drumag’s entire website from German into British English in January 2024.

Website translation: CamperDays

They have been developing and operating travel portals including billiger-mietwagen.de for over 15 years, offering wide-ranging customer service. Since 2013, they have been part of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group along with FLOYT Mobility GmbH. They successfully serve the French hire-vehicle market as CARIGAMI. Their latest product is CamperDays, a promoter of camper van trips around the world.

Linguarum has translated parts of CamperDays and Billiger Mietwagen’s website from German into English, French, Danish and Dutch since 2019.

Website translation: Welcome to Bremen

The websites ‘Welcome to Bremen’ and ‘Welcome to Bremerhaven’ help new residents in the area to integrate. They provide information about day-to-day life, education, German courses, leisure options, law, and local administration.

Linguarum translated the websites into eight different languages in 2023: Arabic, English, Farsi, French, Kurmanji, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian.

Since it was founded in 1998, Intenso has grown into one of the leading brands in the field of storage media. Its practical products make people’s everyday lives easier and more secure, and its solutions are playfully, innovatively and creatively tailored to the demands of the latest technology. Alongside traditional storage media like USB sticks, hard disks, memory cards, SSDs and blank disks, the Intenso brand also features batteries, MP3 players, headphones, power banks, wireless chargers, power adapters and USB cables.

We have been working with Intenso since December 2023 and have translated operating instructions and product descriptions from German into 11 other official EU languages.

TraceParts is one of the world’s leading CAD content platforms in the fields of engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial plants with a total of five million registered users from 1.3 million companies who actively collect product information and technical data from almost 200 different countries. TraceParts’ wide-ranging digital marketing services help component manufacturers and distributors, 3D printing and prototyping providers, software developers and hardware producers to advertise their products and services and create high-quality leads.

We have been translating a range of technical documents and marketing texts from English and French into German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and (Brazilian) Portuguese for TraceParts since early 2023.

Technical translations: transco Drehautomaten GmbH

transco GmbH constructs, manufactures and distributes Audrema® turning machines for post-processing preformed raw parts made from a wide array of materials. The turning machines are available as both single- and double-spindle, and permit a range of machining processes on a wide array of blank shapes and sizes.

Since 2019 we have translated various operating instructions and descriptions of machines and assembly processes from German into English, Czech, Polish, French, Spanish and Italian for transco Drehautomaten GmbH.

POMA Systems GmbH has wide-ranging expertise in all aspects of special machine construction and automation. Medical translations: Inari Medical Europe GmbH

Inari Medical is dedicated to treating venous thromboembolisms and improving the lives of patients with venous diseases by safely and effectively removing blood clots. They put their patients first and take the chance to celebrate patients’ stories.

Since 2023, Linguarum has received translation projects from English into German, French, Italian and Spanish. We translate instructions for thrombosis syringes and other medical instruments.
